The cost is 850.00/person for 2016. We will be staying once again at the SKI-IN/SKI-OUT Jordan Grand Hotel. The package will include your transportation, 5 nights staying in one bedroom hotel condos, 5.5 days skiing, and (ski lessons if desired each day). The package also includes a welcome aboard party hosted by the resort. We will finish off the last night with a potluck dinner where everyone contributes there left overs for a hooh haah evening of food and libations!!

All players need to be at the train station NLT 4:00 so we can stage the luggage and have it measured/weighed and checked in. The station is located on Rte 60 a quarter mile on the right from Rte 17 intersection (just before the James River Bridge). Parking at the station for the duration is free and at your own risk.

Mark will be carrying ONE boarding pass which will cover those participants who paid 850.00. (specifics for the train # are below).

Concerning baggage, we will be allowed to carry on two small bags and check two bags (your ski bag and your large suitcase) which will go in the baggage car. REMEMBER THAT YOUR SKI BAGS CAN NOT EXCEED (72 INCHES / 6 FEET IN LENGTH) OR YOU WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL BAGGAGE FEE)(your large bag can not exceed 50 lbs)

Our AMTRAK train #66 departs at 5:20 PM from the Newport News station Saturday 27 February for a "railway all nighter" to Boston arriving at 8:10 AM Boston-South Station terminal. We will then take a 3 hour charter bus to the resort. We will be making a stop just before the resort at a grocery store so everyone can pick up food and beverages to put in their kitchen for the week. Our resort arrival time should be approx 1:00 to 2:00 PM. After check-in everyone can hit the slopes!!

For those needing rentals they can be purchased at the South Ridge Main Rental Shop. Our group discounted rate is 96.00 for a four day rental and 120.00 for a five day. At check-in a credit card must be provided for each room so that a $300.00 damage deposit can be authorized (no damage to your room equals no damage fees assessed to your card when you leave).

The Jordan Hotel has an outdoor heated pool with two hot tubs, a spa, fitness center, small gift shop, two restaurants (Grand Ave & Sliders), Northern Lights Cafe, complimentary hotel Wi-Fi, and a ski check room to store your skis. The Mogul Ski Club now meets on the second Tuesday of the month. The general membership meeting is opened to all members, guests and the public. If you are a guest or a visitor, please give a holler to any member of the club who will more than happy to direct you to our membership team.

Social hour starts at 6:00pm with the general meeting starting at 7:30pm. Everyone is to invited to join in for the no-host Happy Hour, with specials running on appetizers and drinks from 5:00 - 7:00pm. The meetings are very informal, with discussions about upcoming events and other club business.

Don't let the title "Mogul Ski" Club fool you. Yes there are those of us who get a kick out of skiing, but it's really more about the socializing and the many other activities we love to participate in. So if you are inclined to visiting Hampton Roads many institutions to partake of the libations or...... skiing, biking, golfing, kayak/canoeing, hiking, camping..... come check out our group.
